At Lutheran Home, we understand that this is an important decision, and we’re here to make the process as clear and supportive as possible. Our team lives and breathes this every day, and we’re passionate about helping families find the right fit for their loved ones.

To make things easier, we’ve gathered answers to some of the most frequently asked questions we hear. As a not-for-profit community, our mission is to serve you with honesty, care and compassion. Prior to admission, a professional clinical assessment by the Licensed Social Worker and Director of Nursing will be completed in your home or at Lutheran Home to ensure successful daily living.

Care plans could include medication reminders, transportation, showering or bathing, dressing, escorts for activities and meals within Lutheran Home, eating assistance, toileting and incontinence care, wake-up and turn-in assistance, overnight checks, injections and wound care.

Lutheran Home is a month-to-month rental community offering a lifetime of care. We charge a non-refundable community fee at time of move in.
Not having to focus our efforts on the interests of investors means our organization is able to fully shape the Lutheran Home experience around the residents’ needs and preferences. It enables us to focus on maintaining our high standards and strong values, reinvesting any realized margin back into the community for the benefit of residents.

When making a move is the right choice, our MySolutions relocation and move service will lessen the stress with hands-on assistance in sorting, packing, unpacking and organizing a new home with customized furniture placement and safety recommendations. Ask your sales counselor for more information.

A secure, advanced memory care neighborhood in skilled nursing consisting of all private rooms and is specifically designed for those living with Alzheimer’s or other forms of dementia who also have medically complex needs. MyRehab is a short-term rehabilitation neighborhood designed to promote successful rehabilitation services for people who are either confused from a medical condition or suffer from Alzheimer’s or other forms of dementia. Rehabilitative therapies include physical, occupational, speech and respiratory, with the focus of returning individuals to their home or MyTapestry memory support suite.
Caring for a family member is a big responsibility. If you’re a caregiver, there are times when you need a break. Often families will postpone vacations and miss other family events for fear of leaving a loved one. Lutheran Home offers respite stays across all levels of care and service—for a few days or a few weeks. Allowing you to rest, refresh and take care of you and your life.
