A daytime support club for older adults at Lutheran Home.
Cherished Place Adult Day Club provides mind and body enrichment and social engagement for older adults, as well as some self-care time for their caregivers. One of the few programs of its kind in Arlington Heights, Cherished Place focuses on the individuality of each club member with activities tailored to their abilities and interests. Programs include healthy and therapeutic activities, excursions, games, art and engagement with peers. All with a convenient location on the Lutheran Home campus and we also run a bus to pick up our clients, providing even more convenience to spouses and family members caring for their loved ones.

Child Care at Lutheran Home
Welcome to our Flock.
Shepherd’s Flock is a loving, non-demominational, faith-filled child care service and preschool on the Lutheran Home campus for children aged six weeks up to kindergarten.
Shepherd’s Flock offers a unique, intergenerational opportunity for children and Lutheran Home residents to benefit from shared quality time. From pumpkin patches in the fall to water parks in the summer, to natural HELLO’s in the community as the children see our residents throughout the day, our cohort of volunteer grandmas and grandpas always makes the day more special. Intergenerational programs are designed in accordance with the guidelines established by the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS).

MySolutions is a holistic service offered by Lutheran Home that supports older adults to thrive where they choose to live. Whether you desire to stay in your current home, or make a move to Lutheran Home, MySolutions offers three service options to best fit your needs.
Home Care & Companionship
For older adults who wish to age in their residence, MySolutions has a robust team of home care specialists who come to you to support daily living. Whether you just need someone to come by and give you some help with light housekeeping or to provide care, our professional team is ready to help.
