Daytime support for older adults at Lutheran Home.

Cherished Place Adult Day Club provides mind and body enrichment and social engagement for older adults, as well as some self-care time for their caregivers. One of the few programs of its kind in Arlington Heights, Cherished Place focuses on the individuality of each club member with activities tailored to their abilities and interests. Programs include healthy and therapeutic activities, excursions, games, art and engagement with peers — all with a convenient location on the Lutheran Home campus. We also offer transportation services to pick up our clients, providing even more convenience to spouses and family members caring for their loved ones.

Cherished Place partners with Shepherd’s Flock, Lutheran Home’s Child Care program, for group activities. Both younger and older participants love spending time together, and many forge lasting friendships.
